University of Houston student-athlete Marcus Jones shared a new video on his Twitter feed, in which he models clothing from Southern Gents.
The only text on Jones’ tweet: “Timelessness over Seasonality.” The video seems effective. One response in the comment feed says: “This is the look of a CHAMPION.” Another says: “The best NIL commercial so far! Makes you want the clothing…thus a very successful Ad.”
Jones is a 5-8 senior from Enterprise, Alabama. He received several high-profile awards after the 2020 season, including the Phil Steele All-America First Team (Punt Returner), the CBS/247Sports All-America First Team (Punt Returner), and the PFF All-America Fourth Team (Cornerback).
In addition to selling clothing, Southern Gents also works to create “dynamic and inspiring” events with the aim of uniting gentlemen around the world. The intent of those efforts is to bring about “the re-emergence of strong positive community leaders, responsible for administering the common good in all aspects of life.” Southern Gents sells clothing and accessories for men, and also accessories and outerwear for women.
