The University of Georgia quarterback Stetson Bennett serves customers at a Raising Canes restaurant during the same week that his team won the CFP National Championship.
Bennett and his Georgia Bulldog teammates beat the Alabama Crimson Tide, 33-18 for the national title on January 10, 2022. On January 17th, he poked a little fun at his Tide opponents, using the score in a tweet.
Bennett is a 5-11 senior from Blackshear, Georgia. He previously attended Jones College in Ellisville, Mississippi. He was named Offensive MVP of the CFP Championship Game after completing 17 of 26 passes for 224 yards and two touchdowns.
