Several Brigham Young University student-athletes are collaborating to create a football skills camp for grade schoolers, middle schoolers, and high school athletes.
The BYU Cougar athletes are able to run the camp this spring, thanks to opportunity provided through the Name, Image, and Likeness rule change. The players are calling their camp the “D1 Dream Camp.” It will take place in St. George, Utah on May 13th and 14th, 2022.
Some of the BYU players signed up to coach at the camp include Jackson Kaufusi, Kavika Gagnier, Alema Pilimai, Ammon Hannemann, Cade Fennegan, Jacob Conover, Bronson Andrus, Payton Wilgar, Talmage Gunther, Keenan Pili. The camp is expected to announce additional guest coaches in the days ahead.
D1 Dream Camp perks include collegiate-level coaching, position specific drills, skill development, football IQ, camp swag, a photo opportunity, and autographs.
