Images of University of Mississippi student-athlete Matt Corral are appearing on a New York video board as part of an NIL promotional campaign launched by licensed collectibles company, Panini America.
Panini America is making the effort in advance of the Heisman Trophy Award presentation on December 11th. Corral is expected to be named a finalist in the competition. The video display also coincides with the release of Corral’s autographed memorabilia line through Panini Authentic. The initial autographed offerings include signed footballs and signed helmets.
In a released statement on the Panini website, Corral says “To have Panini unveil this enormous billboard in the heart of Times Square during Heisman Week is special and I look forward to the next phase of our partnership.”
Corral is a redshirt junior from Ventura, California. He has completed 68 percent of his passes for 3,339 yards and 20 touchdowns, with just four interceptions. He also has 597 yards on the ground with 11 TDs. He is currently the only player in the FBS with more than 3,000 yards passing and 500 yards rushing this season.
