Recent high school graduate and number-one ranked boys junior golfer Benjamin James enters a multi-year NIL partnership with Transcend Capital Advisors.
James will enter the University of Virginia after recently graduating from high school in Milford, Connecticut. He’s currently the top-ranked boys junior golfer in the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) rankings and also in the Junior Golf Scoreboard rankings. He won four of his last six AJGA events including the Team TaylorMade Invitational, the Dustin Johnson World Junior, The PING Invitational, and The Junior PLAYERS Championship.
Earlier this year, James was a recipient of the 2022 Byron Nelson International Junior Golf Award, a prestigious award given annually to four amateur golfers from around the world who, in addition to their achievements in golf, demonstrate exceptional character, academic excellence, and a commitment to community service.
In a released statement from Transcend, James says “I am excited about this partnership and grateful for Transcend’s commitment to student-athletes. I am very proud to be on the Transcend team and appreciate their support as I continue my golf journey.”
Details about James’ activities in the partnership were not announced.
