Non-profit charity supporting organization Hoosiers for Good Inc. announces a new, first-of-its-kind Charitable Incubator Program that funds proposals submitted by Indiana University athletes to raise awareness for Indiana charities.
The program will identify and empower IU student athletes who are passionate about charitable work and want to learn how to grow as leaders in the community. Hoosiers For Good will review applications submitted by student athletes with a plan to fully fund and support 3 to 5 applications each semester.
As a part of the application process, student athletes will be required to identify an Indiana charity and submit project ideas designed to raise awareness for the selected Indiana charity. Chosen student athletes will partner with Hoosiers For Good for a year-long Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) agreement and become official Hoosiers For Good athletes. The program application is now live and applications will be accepted until July 31.
In a released statement from the organization, executive director Tyler Harris says “We are excited to officially launch the Charitable Incubator Program. This unique program allows us to further promote the mission of Hoosiers For Good by raising awareness for additional Indiana charities, while also developing community-minded leaders at Indiana University.”
