University of Michigan student-athlete Blake Corum bought 100 turkeys to distribute for Thanksgiving. His efforts were highlighted on Good Morning America.
Corum says that he’ll be involved in more giving throughout the year. He plans to have a Christmas giveaway, and he’ll be involved in other small events that he hopes will “bring the community together.” Corum adds “Football is my passion, but giving back is my purpose.”
Corum is a sophomore from Marshall, Virginia. He was recognized as the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week on September 13th.
Corum and his Michigan Wolverine teammates will play in the school’s first-ever Big Ten Championship Game appearance at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana on December 4th.
