Southern Methodist University student-athlete Ty DeArman creates a storefront on the OurChat app, which gives fans opportunity to communicate with athletes.
DeArman is one of the early signees for the service, and OurChat has given him the designation of being a “Founding Partner.”
DeArman is a 5-11 safety from Arlington, Texas. He previously played at Oklahoma.
OurChat intends to provide good experiences for athletes and for their fans. The company website describes the opportunities for fans who use the app: “By using our platform, you will have direct access to have private one-on-one conversations with your favorite influencers. You’ll be able to connect in a way that you had previously only dreamed of. You will have a chance to tell the influencers how much they’ve meant to you, to ask questions, to make jokes, to pitch ideas… to have real and genuine conversations.”
