University of Utah Football wide receiver Britain Covey uses his NIL influence to create support for Bridle Up Hope, an equestrian program that helps inspire hope, confidence, and resilience in young women.
Covey is using his Twitter account to direct people to a GoFundMe account. The fundraiser is designed to reach a $10,000. goal. The funds would help several girls attend the program.
Britain Covey is a 5-8 junior from Provo, Utah. In 2021 he was a CBS Sports All-America first-team selection.
Bridle Up Hope uses a unique Equine-Assisted Learning (EAL) curriculum that teaches young women to recognize their inherent worth and potential, and to approach life with correct paradigms of themselves and others. The program combines equestrian training, life skills development, service at the barn, and self-renewal activities, with principles from The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People integrated throughout.
Bridle Up Hope has served over 800 young women since 2013, with chapters in Utah, the Netherlands, and the Caribbean. The organization’s long-term vision is to start 1,000 chapters globally by partnering with existing equestrian facilities, ultimately changing the lives of thousands of young women around the world.
